Beautiful view of the beach and the surrounding area.
It was the resort itself that impressed us the most. We had actually visited the same area a few years ago but as time passed, it had been redone and beautifully renovated so we almost didn’t recognize how beautiful it now was. My sister-in-law and I were on our second girlfriends getaway to Hilton Head Island and we couldn’t imagine staying in a nicer place to stay than the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head, so we worked with them to arrange a press visit and how wonderful it was!
We headed to Hilton Head but it got late and dark so by the time we arrived, we were wandering around in the dark trying to find the place. But we used the signs and made our way right to the front door of this beautiful place. And it was just as wonderful as remembered! We got our luggage out of the car and onto the luggage cart, then parked the car and went and checked in. The lobby in the front was beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Our room was perfectly lovely, large and with a great view of the pool and lush greenery of 11 acres surrounding the hotel. You can’t actually see the ocean from the rooms, but it’s just a short walk to get to the beach. We spent some time every day strolling on the beautiful beach and enjoying the wonderful warm weather.

In the evenings, we checked out the various wonderful restaurants in the hotel and sampled some of the many fabulous meals they had to offer. Hilton Head Island is very close to Savannah, so one day we drove over and spent the day eating, shopping, and driving over to
Tybee Island where we enjoyed the beautiful views. The island is a wonderful location and the resort is completely fabulous in every way. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, this is it!
