I sighed in happiness, rolled over, and luxuriated in my wonderful, comfortable bed. When I had requested a press stay in a beach house in Destin, I expected a large resort with dozens of condos, lots of pools, and room to stroll around and enjoy the area.
Instead we had ended up in the comfortable two condo unit right on the beach in Grayton Beach in the back of a quiet neighborhood.
We had pulled into the quiet neighborhood a couple of days ago after dark, exhausted after a long drive and just staggered in with all our luggage and sundries. We could tell it was quiet and we knew the beach was just a short walk but it was dark and we just found our place and fell into bed.
It wasn’t until the next morning that we realized what a treasure we had found.

The next morning, we all wandered out of our two bedrooms and marveled over our absolutely lovely and comfy little house. There wasn’t anyone staying in the other condo, so we had the whole, quiet place to ourselves. I had taken the master bedroom and my two girlfriends had taken the other bedroom with two beds so we had plenty of room.

There was a bathroom between the two bedrooms and another half bath in the hall, so we had plenty of room to make ourselves beautiful before we went out to find some great food – not a problem in the area!

There was a spacious living room with lots of comfy seating and a nice television. We spent most of the late evenings here, after we went out to dinner.

There was also a dining room which we didn’t really use but it would be perfect for a family. The kitchen was roomy and had plenty of space for all our snacks and drinks.

The living room was small but perfect for the three of us to lounge in and watch tv every evening after dinner. We had plenty of restaurant choices right in the neighborhood and along the beach just a short drive away in Destin with tons of great seafood and other options.
We spent every day sleeping late and then relaxing with a lovely walk on the beach which was just a few short steps away. It was wonderful! We then got ready and found another wonderful place for dinner every night – how great!

You can’t go wrong in Destin with all the fabulous restaurants and all the fun activities to do. Whether you want to just relax on the beach or find a fun activity, it’s possible. we enjoyed the sunsets every night!

We loved every minute of our visit and immediately start making plans for our next trip to the area. We are never disappointed in this beautiful beach town!
