Melia Atlanta Hotel

Beautiful Melia Hotel. Photo courtesy of the hotel.

We relaxed on the comfortable couch in the private lounge area of The Level, snacking on fabulous hot hors d’oeuvres and enjoying the incredible view of Atlanta through the floor-length windows.

Just when we thought we had reached the height of being absolutely and completely spoiled, the concierge who is stationed in the lounge area came over to ask if there was anything else we needed. Anything else we needed?

No, there was nothing else.

We were in heaven in the fabulous Melia Atlanta Hotel.

When you stay on The Level – one of the higher floors in the hotel – you have not only fabulous Level rooms with a balcony, flat-screen television, free wifi, and all the amenities which go along with a wonderful luxury hotel room, you also have access to The Level lounge which includes a lovely breakfast in the morning and an open bar (!) with delicious hors d’oeuvres every evening.

Wonderful hors d'oeuvres!

It is unusual to find a downtown hotel with balconies but this one has them – and what an incredible view of Atlanta all lit up you are going to see when you step out there!

View from our balcony - gorgeous!

We should have realized we were in for a completely marvelous stay when we entered the gorgeous lobby area of this downtown hotel, situated in a fantastic location on Peachtree Street near shopping, restaurants and everything you might want to see in downtown Atlanta. With 502 rooms and suites, a fully equipped exercise center and an amazing rooftop pool, this beautiful hotel with a European and Spanish influence has a lot to offer.

When you are ready for a bite to eat and you can tear yourself away from your completely fabulous room, head down to Ashley’s, the beautifully furnished and popular lobby bar where you can relax and enjoy not only the great food but the people watching as they come and go through the open lobby. Order an assortment of tapas or the flat bread pizza and you will not be sorry, I guarantee!

The flat bread pizza is delicious!

You can also choose to dine at the Grille at 590, where we had a lovely buffet breakfast one morning or the Coffee Bar in the lobby which has Starbucks coffee and a variety of fresh pastries – the perfect place to grab a bite before you head out on that bike tour of the city! Room service is also available from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Sophisticated, elegant and beautiful, this hotel is the perfect place to stay in Atlanta.

Just make sure you choose a room on The Level so you can enjoy being pampered within an inch of your lives.

It’s the only way to travel.

Full disclosure: Our stay was provided by Melia Hotel Atlanta, but as always, I will share my honest opinion about any travel experiences I have.
